Yevur

Yevur located 32 km north-east of Surapur. In 11-12th centuries Kalyana Chalukya’s 22 and 2 of Kalachuris inscription are reported here  Yevur had attained an important status as educational, religious and  cultural centre. Tourists enjoy eye catching architectures, pillar inscriptions, carvings, intricate stones  sculptures found in the multi planned architectures  Jain Basadi, Someshwara-Sangameshwar temples complex, Bhavi basavanna temples, Hanumantha temple etc.
