Shiravala The South Varanasi
Shiravala The South Varanasi Is a place of historical importance situated at 15 k. m. from Shahaspur and about 2 km interior on the right bank of river Bhima. Here are almost 20 temples. Shiravala temples pertain to the transition phase from Rastrakuta to Kalyani Chalukya and to Kalachuri period and some of them are excellent creations. Nagayya and Nannayya temples are considered as fabulous architectural works of the Rastrakutas.
